the complexity!

At my internship at Outpost Digital they have me working on a side project, the subject and content is all up to me. I started it on a very broad subject, that of sustainable energy and dependency from foreign oil. One of the men leading this charge (and only man according to him) is T. Boone Pickens. The more I’ve researched on the man the more I’ve become interested. He’s been on practically every TV show over the past 6 months ranging from MSNBC to the Daily Show. I’m not sure if all the details of his “Plan” are exactly ideal, but it’s the initiative that counts. I’ve been browsing the internet for a couple weeks now, and the stuff we’re dealing with now becomes more and more solidified every day. I picked up his book to get a little more insight. Aside from talking about himself a little too much and not getting to his “Plan” till the very end, its a good read so far.

now for the real reason for this post.. while browsing today I found this series that aired on PBS. It’s called e2, and its tag line is this: ”the economies of being environmentally conscious” It has had 2 or 3 seasons now with a different focus on each. I watched the podcasts and trailers from some of the episodes. The cinematography looks top notch. That along with the actual content, which I think you can tell, I find fascinating. I’m going to try and get my hands on the full length series.
