The last day here in England ended with a proper send off. Beautiful weather all day long. Got some touches on the soccer ball on the front lawn before lunch. Played a solid game of cricket with a good group of bro’s friends on campus. They ended up bailing out eventually to leave it to a 1 on 1 game (which doesn’t really work in cricket) but it was a blast. Practically every evening since getting back from Brussels has consisted of a visit to the North Arms pub, and tonight would be no different. Nikki and Gary run the place and we’ve gotten quite close in the handful of visits I’ve made there. There was a good gathering out for my self announced going away party. It’s really not where you’re at it’s the people you’re with that make your time what it is. I’ll be missing the whole bunch (and ok the pub too) but I think bro might be able to fill my share in addition to his just fine..
