Fields of Growth
I filmed down at Rutgers this past weekend for some lax camp, and upon returning to my car I get this flyer on the hood. Usually these things are so annoying, but this one caught my attention for just a moment. I came out and checked out the website, and was pleasantly surprised. Fields of Growth Int’l is a really neat non-profit organization that is trying to help disadvantaged children in Uganda through lacrosse. They seem to be just getting past the start up pages, but I’m interested to see where they take off to. I’m going to try and get involved.. ever since my trip to Europe last week, I’ve been saying that the next place I want to travel to to be a little more off the map. All these cool cities I’ve been to have been awesome no doubt, but they’re just that, cities. I’m looking for a change the next time I’m out and about.
