A Family Affair

I believe I underestimated how great this past weekend would be. Sure, I thought wedding = great time (which it was, by all means). But I didn’t think about how good it would be to see everyone in the family. It’s been years and years since everyone has gotten together, and with those spread out [...]

Wedding Weekend!

I’ll most likely be off the map for a long weekend of wedding events.. Aunt Sandy’s getting married!! I think the last time someone in the family got married, I was the ring bearer (so 5 years old). Pretty excited about everyone getting together.. should be plenty of celebrating to be had.

Shoot Assisting

Camera assisted on a shoot today for BlackBook mag + Stoli vodka. Shot with Seth Melnick who was DP’ing the series set to air on the internet I believe. It’s always great to work with good guys who know what they’re doing.. can learn a lot in these situations. I’ll post some links to the [...]

G’day!

Some days are good ones.. today was great. I drove out this morning to Scranton, PA to meet with Kevin Dugan of Fields of Growth. I wrote earlier this week about this program, which uses lacrosse as a relational platform to foster friendships and deliver education, healthcare and various forms of human development to people [...]

Recruit

This weekend was spent filming games at a lax tournement down in Maryland. It opened my eyes to a few things. First, it’s crazy how many players and parents come from all over to play in these games, all of which are out of season and mean absolutely nothing. But this isn’t unusual, it happens [...]

Randomness of what i do

This weekend brings me down to Baltimore, MD for another lax camp. Not the most exciting work, but after travel, hotel, and food are paid for on top of what I’ll be getting to film, it sounds a bit better. Heading down tonight with Baker, hope we get to get out into the city for [...]

Time for New

It seems that I’ve fallen into a little pattern (unknowingly). I’ve been buying a new camera every 3 years or so. I first started with my Samsung handycam back in the day, took the big step up to the 3CCD world with my Sony VX2100 junior year of high school, got my first HD camera [...]

Tee Shirts

For those of you who don’t know, I print T-shirts. Got the all setup right down there in the basement. Haven’t done much with it for a few years now, hoping to get some kind of line going, perhaps make some sales. It’d be cool to get going on the side. The one above is [...]

Crush It

Really like what I’m reading about this book Crush It by Gary Vaynerchuk. I only need to watch this video to convince me that this is probably something that I’d like to read. It’s on hold for me at the library, excited for when it comes in to get my eyes on it. I find [...]

Fields of Growth

I filmed down at Rutgers this past weekend for some lax camp, and upon returning to my car I get this flyer on the hood. Usually these things are so annoying, but this one caught my attention for just a moment. I came out and checked out the website, and was pleasantly surprised. Fields of [...]
