..and if that’s not enough for you, let’s make them public bathrooms. For the past two days I’ve been assisting on a shoot for Dwell Magazine, this being the next installment of the Bathroom Reinvented series. Yesterday we were at the offices of Smart Design. Such a lovely place with an incredible view of the city. It’s not hard to imagine how one can be inspired working there to create the products and innovations that they do. We picked up a lot of nice looking images and really think the space was well captured. Today we traveled about on the streets of NYC, profiling some public bathrooms and getting input of strangers on the street of their experiences with what they do when they need to “go” in NYC, and what they would do to improve the cleanliness, safety and overall experience of using a public restroom. I camera assisted both days working with a great DP and an even better director. Which today, meant carrying a lot of bags and doing my fair share of slating (and a lot more camera related tasks, of course, but this photo was too classic to not post) I’m excited to see this one cut together, I’ll keep you posted when it’s posted.
